Yoga & Cultural Immersion Retreat in Rishikesh — The Birthplace of Yoga
Discover the vibrant spirit of Rishikesh, the Himalayan gateway of yoga, through a retreat that blends daily practice with meaningful cultural exploration. Nestled between mountains, forests, and the sacred Ganges, this journey offers an authentic introduction to the traditions, teachers, and rituals that shape the world capital of yoga.
Each morning begins with a dynamic yoga session guided by Maricha or her own masters Gurujis who share classical teachings, breathing, Asanas, Yoga Nidra and the philosophical roots of the practice.
The Afternoons sessions are dedicated to activities that deepen your understanding of yoga in its traditional environment.
Beyond the mat, Rishikesh reveals its richness through a series of iconic visits and encounters. You’ll wander through the creative and spiritually charged Beatles Ashram, explore its murals, and follow the peaceful paths where art and meditation intertwine. A sunrise excursion to Kunjapuri Temple offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, a moment where the entire valley awakens beneath the first light.

DIWALI - VARANASI
6 days 5 nights immersion in India for the very special day of Dev Dipawali.
In the eternal city of Varanasi, where the Ganges whispers ancient prayers and the ghats glow with thousands of flames, this yoga retreat invites you to experience Dev Dipavali as a true inner pilgrimage.
Each morning begins with Pranayama, Meditation & Asana on the banks of the sacred river, as the mist slowly rises and the first chants of the priests mingle with the breath of the practitioners. Guided by Maricha, the yoga sessions cultivate harmony between body, breath, and mind, drawing inspiration from the millennia-old traditions rooted in the city of Shiva.
In the afternoons, you take part in workshops on yogic & tantra philosophy and cultural discovery—meeting local priests, learning the basics of traditional rituals, or wandering through the ancient alleys of Varanasi, living labyrinths filled with history. One day you will even have the chance to go to Sarnath, where Lord Bouddha gave his first speech.
The highlight of the retreat is the celebration of Dev Dipavali, the “Diwali of the Gods,” when Varanasi ignites with light.
At dusk, you witness the Ganga Aarti from a traditional boat. Thousands of diyas (candles) float upon the water, drawing a path of gentle embers, while the ghats resound with mantras and rhythmic drums.
This experience, both vibrant and meditative, becomes an invitation to honor the light, purify the mind, and celebrate life in its most sacred form.
The retreat concludes with one last sunrise yoga session—an unhurried, suspended moment in which each participant can feel the unique energy of Varanasi, infused with wisdom, devotion, and infinity.
